AS A LONDON- BASED GRAPHIC DESIGNER, I PRIDE MYSELF ON MY ability to combine intuitive thinking with strategic clarity ACROSS VARIOUS visual formats.
HII, IM ALISHA- A UWE GRAPHIC DESIGN GRADUATE. MY PASSIONS LIE IN editorial storytelling AND art direction.

BEHIND THE WORK.
I blend creative strategy with emotional intelligence to explore themes of identity, psychology, culture, and female expression through visual storytelling.
My design approach is driven by curiosity, research, and emotional intelligence — using empathy not just to understand people, but to craft work that communicates clearly and resonates with intention. I create concept-led design across branding and editorial formats. Whether I’m building a visual system, directing a shoot, or developing a typographic narrative, I approach each project with care and a desire to make something meaningful.
As someone with dyslexia and early personal loss, I’ve developed a deep sensitivity to how people communicate and express themselves. Dyslexia has taught me the importance of clarity and inclusion, shaping how I create accessible, considered design. Losing my mum at a young age gave me an instinct for emotional awareness, which informs my passion for storytelling, psychology, and identity.

These experiences continue to shape how I design — with empathy, honesty, and a desire to create work that connects. I use design to uplift women’s voices and stories, and I aim to make work that is not only visually clear, but deeply understood — design that feels collaborative, inclusive, and human-centered.
I bring a calm, organised mindset to my practice, with strengths in attention to detail, problem-solving, and translating abstract ideas into clear, engaging visuals. I think both visually and intuitively, balancing creative instinct with structure and intention.
While my focus is identity-led and story-rich design, I’m open to a wide range of creative roles. I’m excited to apply my thinking in new ways, expand my skills, and continue learning. I believe my research-led process, sensitivity to ideas, and curiosity can bring value to any design context — and I care about creating work that’s inclusive, purposeful, and thoughtfully made.
