Who Are We Now is a personal publication created through an interview with a family member, designed to visually reflect his life story and personality. Inspired by his childlike energy, love for art, deep connection to his youth, and his role as a teacher, the design embraces playful, Bauhaus-influenced elements to mirror the creativity and joy that shaped his early years.
The use of Hand-drawn lines, primary colour overlays, and expressive layouts choices help evoke his memories with a youthful tone and the encouraging presence he brought to his classroom. A dark brown cover reflects his dependability, warmth, and life experience, while a spiral binding adds a handmade, practical touch—mirroring his resourceful, hands-on nature.
This piece is a visual portrait, built not just from words, but from emotion, memory, and identity.
