This project is a visual exploration of how fashion reflects identity, self-discovery, and personal growth, while questioning the impact of fast fashion and sustainability. Aimed at young women navigating their evolving sense of style, it highlights how clothing choices influence both inner confidence and the environment.

I directed, styled, and photographed a series of looks to represent different stages of development—using limited wardrobe resources to reflect shifts in both emotional and personal identity. Through pose, movement, and clothing, I aimed to express how fashion can visually capture internal change.

The project also involved collaboration and interview work, gathering insight from the model on how each outfit made her feel—emphasising how what we wear can shape not just how we’re seen, but how we see ourselves.

The final outcomes—a looping GIF, short video, and fashion identity graph—mirror the repetitive, sometimes chaotic nature of fast fashion, while celebrating the expressive power of a more authentic, intentional style journey.
